Poland’s first vegan aparthotel

Poland’s first vegan aparthotel is located in Salwator – a small residential area west of the center of Krakow. Our neighborhood is a beautiful, green part of Krakow. Thanks to the proximity of the Vistula boulevards, you can quickly get away from the traffic or, on the contrary, reach the Old Town and feel its rhythm. Close by are the unique Błonia meadows, and a little further the Wolski Forest and the Kościuszko Hill.

Ecological and environmental spirit

Plantonia was founded with a focus on the planet and sustainable travel. Ours is a place designed down to the finest detail, full of vegan and recycled materials, local design and plant inspiration.

Plantonia is located in a building built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. We have renovated this location while preserving the entire front of the building.

Style and Comfort

We want to show that a vegan place is not only the least harmful to the environment, but also has style and comfort. The atmosphere of the place is very important to us. We love things that are beautiful.

Aparthotel is a combination of hotel and apartment facilities. It has apartments with a larger area than standard hotel rooms. In addition to the bedroom and bathroom, it includes a living room, a fully equipped kitchen or additional bedrooms.
Furnished with recycled materials and air purifiers in every apartment.

At the same time, the aparthotel offers hotel services and amenities, such as 24-hour reception, gym, laundry, cleaning or technical services.

Zaczyn Bakery and Café

There is also a bakery and cafe Zaczyn in our building, where you can get vegan breakfast, sweets and coffee.

The hotel pantry is full of nutritious items and treats. Carefully selected vegan snacks, drinks and meals that are easy to prepare in the apartment. The pantry is prepared in cooperation with the Gilko store in Krakow, which delivers its vegetable delicacies in a zero-emission electric car.

Relaxing and healthy salt cave

In our salt cave you can read a book, listen to music or just relax. The salt rocks come from Wieliczka – we wanted them to come from a local town. Salt has relaxing and healing properties. In the same room you can also enjoy relaxing massages.

Filtered water

In Plantonia, free drinking water is available for guests. There is a place in the lobby where you can fill your reusable bottle. In Krakow you can safely drink tap water without boiling it. Its high quality is guaranteed by daily controls and the latest disinfection technologies, including the UV disinfection system used in New York and Rotterdam.

Bicycle rental

We will be happy to arrange for you the best bicycle route to the selected part of Krakow. Thanks to the proximity of the Vistula boulevards, you can quickly get away from the traffic or head towards the Old Town.

Activities

Yoga classes and workshops related to modern lifestyle await our guests.

We also have a mini gym with a bike, exercise bench, ladders, dumbbells and exercise balls. The gym is open from 5 a.m. to midnight.

Krakow

Salwator is located close to the city center and the main tourist routes. Right next to it is a large urban meadow, and a little further is the largest forest in Krakow, i.e. Lasek Wolski and Kościuszko Hills, with a wonderful view of the city.

Plantonia is also a great place for those who prefer the market to the supermarket. A few minutes from us is the Plac Targowy na Stawach, popular among Krakow residents, where you can buy seasonal vegetables and fruits from smaller and local sellers.

A few minutes walk will take you to the National Museum, whose collection includes important works of Polish art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries: paintings, sculptures, drawings, arts and crafts.
