The tranquil village of Hittenkirchen is located on a hill, exactly between Prien and Bernau am Chiemsee/Bavaria. Thanks to its location about 150 metres above the lake, you have a wonderful view of Lake Chiemsee and the Chiemgau Alps.
Despite the quiet location, it is only a few minutes’ drive to Bernau, to Lake Chiemsee and also to the motorway. A stop of the local call bus system “ROSI” is located directly at the Landgasthof Hittenkirchen.

What awaits you

The Landgasthof Hittenkirchen is a cosy place. The rooms called “Nests” make perfect use of the 15m²: from the box-spring bed to the Smart TV and the Nespresso coffee machine with organic coffee from Munich, everything has been thought of here! From the balcony you have a fantastic view of the sunrise over Lake Chiemsee. The family room overlooks the nearby forest and, with a bit of luck, you might even see a deer or two. With just under 23m² and a cosy couch corner, the family room is ideal for a longer stay and the cosy lounge and bar area on the ground floor invites you to linger.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
That’s why we do everything we can to make you fhappy in the morning – 100% plant-based, of course, or just 80% or 70…just as you like!
Because we prepare every breakfast freshly to order. With everything you desire.
Our award-winning restaurant (6 pans in the Gusto Gourmet Guide) is open on selected dates. Here we serve two changing themed menus either “Old School”, made with animal products or “New School”, completely plant-based.

Sustainability is lived in this organic-certified establishment! Electricity is generated 100% ecologically, partly by solar cells on the roof. The hotel linen is also produced and cleaned in a climate-neutral way. Generally, chemical-free cleaning agents from regional production are used.
