Those who prefer to be on the move on two boards in the snow or like to dive into the wintry nature alone, who love the mountains and want to spend vacations in maximum freedom, will flourish here. The new alpine casual hotel paves the way for enjoyment and openness to everything that has nothing to do with everyday life. Chill out and relax daily until 10 p.m. in the HimmelblüSpa on the roof. Eating is done whenever it fits into the sporty or wonderfully lazy day. “Be so free” is the motto above everything at the new Hotel Blü.

For passionate breakfast lovers

At Hotel Blü, breakfast can sometimes turn into a late breakfast. If you feel like it, you can have breakfast à la carte until late in the day. In the morning, from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m., you can help yourself to the “Blü-auf breakfast buffet”: Selected coffee and tea specialties, oven-warmed, homemade, baked, pickled, preserved and fried foods, join seasonal fruits and vegetables and fine sweets.

At Hotel Blü, vegetarian and vegan dishes play no secondary role: organic mueslis with quinoa, millet or amaranth, tofu-turmeric masala, baba ganoush on pita bread, millet-plum porridge, plant-based milk and yogurt, hemp and almond dishes and vegan spreads.

For visionary gourmets

The world, Europe, Austria, Hofgastein – at the new Hotel Blü, enjoyment is boundless. Here, people mix and meld, try things out and cook with passion. Cosmopolitanism and good taste take over the direction of the flexible à la carte half board. The oriental Levant cuisine, in which vegetables play the leading role, the exciting South-East Asian cuisine and, of course, the Austrian cuisine inspire each other. You can also find this at Blü: The refined food variation in the middle of the table for sharing and tasting among friends.

The BLÜ bar

Blü Bar, right on Kaiser Franz Platz, is made for guests and locals. A quick caffè al banco in passing, a glass of prosecco with friends after a day of skiing, a good beer from a local brewery or perfectly mixed drinks. The Blü Bar is the heart of the hotel, so to speak. Reception, lounge, cafe – everything merges here into a wonderful whole. You can meet, chat and taste one or two fine wines from the well-stocked vinotheque.
The new Hotel Blü will be a meeting place, a “must-free zone”, where you can find and get to know like-minded gourmets, for sports as well as for discussion, philosophizing, “yoga” and “being happy”. Climbing the peaks early in the morning every day or lying in bed and relaxing until the evening. Listening to good music and being served the best drinks or immersing yourself in your favorite book in the spa. Think or do. Ski tour or spa session. Everything is possible in the new Blü.

Himmelblü – Relaxing above the roofs

Brand new for Bad Hofgastein: chill out and relax in the Himmelblü on the roof in cool cosy design. Those who enjoy life in the Gastein Valley come very close to heaven in the new relaxation area of the Blü – whether during yoga, in the sauna, in the fitness area or in the roof garden of the senses: sit in the 90° warm sauna and soak up the view of the Graukogel and the power of the Gastein Valley, or prefer to sweat at 50° in the bio sauna, then jump into the snow mountains in the roof garden and rest in the warm with a view of the Schlossalm. If you like reading, choose a book from the hotel library and make yourself comfortable on the beautiful wooden loungers. One of the cozy corners is a good place to take an afternoon nap.
