In 2014 we fulfilled our dream of having our own castle. We would like to let you participate in this for a short time. Enjoy a relaxing holiday in the historic castle, the oldest parts of which date back to the 13th century. In the 16th century, Philip Geyer not only gave the former moated castle its current name, but also its current appearance as a renaissance castle with the arcades typical of that time, as well as the inner courtyard with its southern flair.

Our cozy apartments in the attic – Ursula, Philip and Rosina – offer you all the amenities for a multi-day stay. A living area with satellite TV and radio, a fully equipped kitchen and a modern shower room are part of the basic equipment of every apartment. Do you love sleeping comfortably under the ridge and watching the stars through the roof window? Then our duplex apartments Philip and Rosina are just the thing! Or would you like to spend a romantic night in a four-poster bed? Then you have made the right choice with our apartment Ursula.

Vegan breakfast and vegan cake specialities

Would you like to be pampered during your vacation and not have to worry about anything in the morning? We look forward to welcoming you to an exceptional, exclusively vegan breakfast in our historic knight’s hall or bringing breakfast to your apartment.

Our gastronomic offer includes our cafe on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month. Enjoy our delicious, naturally homemade, vegan cake specialties in the historic knight’s hall or in our courtyard with its southern flair and a cup of coffee. A brunch that takes place several times a year and celebrations of all kinds, of course also exclusively vegan, round off our offer.

Culture, hiking and biking

Do you like hiking or would you like to explore the area by bike? Excellent hiking trails or a well-developed bike path along the romantic road invite you to do so. Are you interested in culture or do you like to hike in the past? You have plenty of options between Bad Mergentheim and Rothenburg ob der Tauber.

Dog friendly

For you, only a vacation with your dog is an option! Since we have dogs and cats ourselves, this is of course also very welcome!

Vegan weddings

If you are looking for an unusual location for your wedding, you will also find it here! The civil wedding in our historic knight’s hall, as well as the subsequent celebration with purely vegan catering, will not be forgotten.
